Sunday Worship
Sunday Worship
Our primary role as members of God’s creation is to worship God in all things. Worship is our way of thanking God for the countless gifts of life… gifts like love, grace, nature, meaningful relationships, faith, and so much more. At WDMCC, we turn to scripture, the life of Jesus, prayer, music, and the Christian tradition to praise God through a variety of expressions and to grow as disciples of Christ. We share in Communion weekly as a celebration of Jesus’ saving work.
Sunday Morning Schedule:
9:00am — Sunday School
10:00am — Worship (both in-person and online)
11:00am — Fellowship in The Gathering
Lenten Series: Unhurried
As we step into the season of Lent, a time traditionally marked by reflection, repentance, and renewal, we are starting a new worship series titled “UNHURRIED.” Inspired by John Mark Comer’s book The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry, this Lenten journey calls us to slow down, quiet our hearts, and walk at the unhurried pace of Jesus.
Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus moving through life with intentionality and peace. Though the world around Him was chaotic—crowds pressing in, religious leaders challenging Him, disciples misunderstanding Him—Jesus never rushed. He walked. He paused. He prayed. He noticed.
This Lent, we invite you to resist the pressure of busyness and instead embrace more intentional rhythms of stillness and un-hurry. What if, in being unhurried, you discover a deeper faith?
Join us in worship each week as we explore how following the unhurried way of Jesus can transform our hearts, our schedules, our relationships, and our walk with God.

For the Kids
Kids ages K-5th grade are invited to attend Kids’ Worship in the Gym Building during the 10:00am worship hour. We’ll all start worship together in the Sanctuary. Following Children’s Sermon, kids who wish to participate in Kids’ Worship can then go to the Children’s Ministries building with our volunteers to enjoy VBS-like worship, music, and activities tailored to their age group.
